Cheese roll cake (Bolu Gulung keju)

This one is indonesian style roll cake which require a lot of egg yolk for one recipe, but it make the texture very soft and tasty. Easy to roll if you bake at right temperature and right time.

Make 24x24cm
3 whole eggs
3 egg yolk
50 gr castor sugar
1/2 tbsp water
1/2 tbsp emulsifier
50 gr all purpose flour
10 gr milk powder
1/8 tsp Baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
65 gr salted butter, melted
1. Preheat the oven at 190 degC, Line the bottom of 24x24cm square pan with baking paper and grease with butter
2. Beat egg, sugar, cake emulsifier and water until thick and fluffy with electric mixer
3. Fold in sifted flour, milk powder and Baking powder, fold until well combined
4. Fold in melt butter, fold until homogen and well combined
5. Take 2-3 tbsp of batter, mix it with 1 drop of chocolate paste and put in pipping bag for decoration
6. Pour the batter to prepared baking pan, decorate with chocolate batter as you wish (i draw a line)
7. Bake at preheat oven for 15-18 minutes. Don't over baked unless your cake will cracked
8. Remove the cake from the pan and peel off the baking paper. Let it cool, spread the filling inside (buttercream  & grated cheddar cheese). Roll in tightly with help from baking paper. Let it set a while before cutting into slices.
