Teriyaki Chicken

This is one of easy and quick recipe, and taste delicious. just grill the chicken  breast meat and pour in teriyaki chicken sauce cook for few minute and its done. Serve with hot rice. This is perfect recipe for lunchbox too.

Since i don't have Japanese low sodium soy sauce, i am just using Chinese light soy sauce and its taste good also, not big different.

I am using this chicken teriyaki to made some teriyaki chicken sushi once. my sushi roll was not look good, i need more practice.

Teriyaki Chicken

1/4 cup light soy sauce
1/3 cup light brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon grated ginger
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp oyster sauce
1 cup hot water

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
Freshly ground black pepper
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
2 teaspoons water + 1 teaspoon corn starch
2 green onions, green and white parts, sliced

1. Combine all the sauce ingredient in a bowl and mixed well until the sugar all dissolve
2. Heat the pan, put in vegetable oil and grill the chicken until not pink anymore
3. Pour in the sauce mixed into the pan, cook for 2 minutes
4. Remove the chicken from pan, and thickened the sauce the pour into the chicken
5. Garnish with some sliced green onions.
