Favorite tart with favorite books |
one is never enough for this chocolate cheese tart. I like it so much.
the cream cheese make it creamy and chocolate make it rich. nom nom..

Chocolate Cheese Tart
Ingredients
Crust
100 gr all purpose flour
50 gr margarine
½ egg
Filling
50 gr cream cheese, room temperature
20 gr Dark Cooking Chocolate, melted
1tbsp castor sugar
1tbsp 60g butter
half egg
Method
- Mix flour and margarine using fork / pastry knife until it look like a fine breadcrumbs
- add the egg into the pastry to form a dough
- Place into zip lock/bowl and chill in the fridge for 15 minutes
- once the pastry dough is firm, mold the pastry into tart case. poke a tiny hole gently with a fork inside the tart base
- Bake at preheated 200C oven for about 15minutes
- Prepare the filling, cream the cream cheese with butter until light with electric handmixer, add in melted chocolate and egg continue mix just until well combine, don't over mix.
- Pipped / spoon the filling to the baked tart case, and bake for another 10 minutes at 180degC
- It is make about 7 - 5 cm base tart case
